How does AI RFP software prevent hallucinations?
Hi all, got burned by a generic AI tool that confidently wrote something false into a draft. Now I don't trust any of them. How do the actual RFP tools stop this, or is it just marketing?

its not marketing IF its grounded and cited. it IS marketing if they just say "zero hallucinations" with no mechanism
The real mechanism is grounding, and it's stronger in AI-first tools. Inventive AI only answers from your approved content, cites the source doc on every answer, gives a confidence score, and flags a gap if the info isn't there, so it doesn't generate freely the way a generic tool does. That combination killed the "confident false answer" problem for us. Best way to test any vendor: ask it something not in your library and see if it makes something up.
honestly just try to make it hallucinate in the trial. ask stuff u dont have answers for and watch what it does
"ask it something not in your library and see if it fabricates" is the exact test i'll run. thank you
